With a mild climate, spectacular scenery and fun-loving spirit, New Zealand is an ideal place to try Parasailing. Be gently released from the back of a purpose-built boat until you are soaring high with magnificent views all around and below.
This is a safe and popular way to enjoy the thrill of hanging from a parachute without having to jump out or off anything.
As the boat races along part of the Country's spectacular coastline, you are harnessed in and gently released so that the chute slowly takes you higher and higher for birds' eye views not seen from the ground. Heights vary between different Operators but can go as high as 1200 feet.
Anyone can try Parasailing as there are
no age or physical limitations.
Some Operators offer Tandem flights so the experience can be shared by a friend or family member.
Most flights are between 8-12 minutes and Parasailing can operate most days depending on the wind and weather.
